A small operations team in Ottawa running a large delivery network. No call centre, no reseller chain between you and the people who maintain the servers.
Our story
CanadTV started because a handful of network engineers on Preston Street worked out that the technology to deliver television over an internet line had been mature for years, while the bills Canadians received had not moved accordingly. We began by running our own feeds for ourselves. Friends asked. Then their families asked.
Today the platform pushes more than 5,400 terabytes of video every month to households across all ten provinces, with mirrored ingest in Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa. The company remains deliberately small: the person who answers your ticket sits within earshot of the person who maintains the transcoders.
That structure decides most of our choices. One device per subscription, because it keeps per-account bandwidth generous. One supported application, IBO Player, because a support desk that knows one interface inside out beats one that half-knows six. No auto-renewal, because a business that has to earn the next payment behaves better than one that takes it automatically.
“We would rather carry twenty-three thousand channels that all work than claim forty thousand and spend our week apologising.”
Operations lead, CanadTV, OttawaWhat CanadTV is not. We neither host nor originate any content, we build no hardware, and we do not run an affiliate network pushing our name across dozens of lookalike sites. CanadTV is one brand, one platform, one support desk.
Four commitments that shape every decision, from which feeds we licence to how a ticket gets answered.

Every order is checked by a person before credentials go out. It costs us minutes and saves subscribers an evening of troubleshooting.
IBO Player across every platform, documented step by step in our installation guide rather than left to chance.
Terms end when they end. You are asked whether to continue, and we hold no card on file to take the decision for you.
Curious about the commercial side instead? The reseller programme explains how independent operators build on the same infrastructure, and pricing covers the retail terms.
Everything above is easier to judge from your own sofa than from a page about us. Thirty days of the full platform costs CA$10.99 and holds nothing back.
