Terms of Service

The agreement between you and CanadTV covering subscriptions, acceptable use, device limits and liability.

Welcome to CanadTV (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using our IPTV subscription service at https://canadtv.ca (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service description

CanadTV provides a subscription-based IPTV streaming service delivering live television channels, video-on-demand content and electronic programme guide (EPG) data over the internet. Access is provided through the IBO Player application on a single authorised device per subscription.

2. Account registration

  • You must provide accurate, complete and current information when registering.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age, or the legal age of majority in Canada, to create an account.
  • You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Subscription plans and payment

CanadTV offers subscription plans of 1, 3, 6 and 12 months, plus a discounted introductory 1-month plan for new customers. Current prices for all plans are displayed on the pricing page and at checkout.

  • All prices are in the currency shown at checkout.
  • Subscriptions are activated once payment is confirmed.
  • Payments are processed securely. CanadTV does not store payment card details.
  • Subscriptions do not auto-renew unless explicitly stated at checkout.

4. Refunds

All sales are final once an account has been activated. Because the Service grants immediate access to digital content:

  • No refunds are issued after account activation.
  • Exceptions apply only to (a) a verified service outage exceeding 72 consecutive hours, for which a pro-rata credit may be issued, or (b) a confirmed duplicate charge, refunded in full.
  • Requests must reach [email protected] within 7 days of the qualifying event.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service solely for personal, non-commercial viewing. You must NOT:

  • Share, resell, redistribute or sublicense your account credentials to any third party.
  • Use the Service to broadcast, publicly display or re-stream content.
  • Attempt to circumvent access controls, DRM protections or authentication systems.
  • Use automated tools, bots or scrapers against the Service.
  • Use the Service in a manner that breaches any applicable law in Canada or elsewhere.
  • Use the Service to reach content in regions where such access is prohibited.

Breach of these terms results in immediate termination without refund. Commercial redistribution is available only through our reseller programme.

6. Device limitation

Each subscription permits access on one (1) device at a time. Concurrent streaming on multiple devices is not permitted. The Service is compatible exclusively with the IBO Player application; CanadTV does not provide support for third-party applications.

7. Service availability

CanadTV targets 99.9% uptime. We do not, however, guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable owing to scheduled maintenance announced in advance where possible, unplanned technical issues, third-party content provider disruptions, or force majeure events. CanadTV is not liable for interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

8. Intellectual property

All content delivered through the Service — live channels, video-on-demand, logos and EPG data — remains the property of the respective content owners and licensors. CanadTV claims no ownership of third-party content. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view content for personal use only.

The CanadTV name, logo and site design are our property and may not be used without written permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our privacy policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, without prior notice and without refund. You may cancel at any time by contacting [email protected]; access continues until the end of the paid period.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CanadTV SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID IN THE 30 DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Canada.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted at https://canadtv.ca/terms.html with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
